The ASRock X870 Pro RS is an ATX motherboard built on the AMD X870 chipset and designed for AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 Series processors using the AM5 socket.
It features four DDR5 DIMM slots supporting dual-channel memory with a maximum capacity of 256GB and memory speeds up to 8000+ MHz (overclocked).
For graphics expansion, the motherboard includes a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and an additional PCIe 4.0 x16 slot.
Storage options include three M.2 slots:
- 1 × PCIe Gen5 x4 (Blazing M.2)
- 1 × PCIe Gen4 x4 (Hyper M.2)
- 1 × PCIe Gen3 x4 / SATA (Ultra M.2)
along with four SATA III ports for traditional drives.
